Ink smears, as thoughts sometimes do. ~Terri Guillemets

Some days so many words rush to my head,

But I don't know how to say them
So I write them instead

Leunig the Ledgend.

I love collecting the Leunigs from the paper. He always has something comical or political to say about the world. The most recent I have received is this delightful poem;

Lovely dreaming olive tree
Oh, the way you look at me
With your multitude of eyes,
Dark and Shiny, strong and wise.

Let me drift into your gaze
Dreaming of the summer days
Of love and light and you and me,
Oh lovely dreaming olive tree.

It made me smile :) a great way to start a day with a story like that.
I borrowed a book from the library of his once, and sat there reading all of his opinions of politics and war. He is a wise man that leunig, a wise wise man.
